Held in the beautiful, peaceful woodland at Path Hill Outdoors nr. Whitchurch-on-Thames, on the Oxfordshire, Berkshire border, we will explore how becoming present within our bodies and our environment through deep observation can help us feel grounded, centred, safe, well and happy.
Our tools to help us creatively focus on the present moment will be our mobile device cameras and a range of art materials. Whilst this workshop is not about being ‘good’ or ‘bad’ at art or photography you may be surprised at what you produce when approaching these activities once the mind gets out of the way and you are creating from a mindful perspective!
The date is September 29th
The workshop starts at 11am and run until 2.30pm with a bring your own picnic lunch.
The cost is £22.50 per person (children and adults alike), with every 4th and consecutive party member enjoying their place at half price.

- 2019 Family Mindfulness, Yoga and Relaxation Sessions in Tilehurst, Reading;
1hr sessions for children aged 6-11 and their grown-up/s, during which we practice using gentle yoga, breathing, sensory and relaxation techniques to help calm our nervous systems and bring some peace to body, mind and spirit. We also have a few laughs and lots of fun along the way 😀
Cost – £8 per person (children and adults alike), per session. Whilst you can book as many or as few as you like, I will always encourage you to come to as many as you can as it is with practice that these life enhancing tools become a natural way of being for life.
Place – Kim Allyson’s Yoga Studio, Tilehurst, Reading RG31 6JH
Time – 1.30pm-2.30pm
You are welcome to book as many or as few as suits you, but pre-booking is essential, thank you.
*Please note – Sarah is fully insured for these events but would like to remind adults that she is not trained to teach adult yoga, so any physical movement undertaken by adults is done so at their own risk. That said, the movements and stretches are gentle and can be enjoyed by anyone with due self care and awareness. *

- SCHOOLS, HOME ED. GROUPS and PRE-SCHOOLS
As Brilliant Beings I can offer mindfulness,yoga and peer-to-peer massage classes, or a mixture of all or some of these, in educational settings to children between the ages of 2 to 16.
I am also happy to offer mindfulness and relaxation sessions for the adults working with children in various settings (during or out of school hours) so that they can de-stress and learn to feel the benefits of mindful practice for themselves.
Whilst based in West Berkshire, I am happy to consider travelling further afield.
I am also delighted to be working with the innovative charity Inside Out for Children to help primary schools embed well being into their daily lives. Initiated by magical days out at Checkendon Equestrian Centre, Berkshire, teachers and pupils start to explore Inside Out’s 5 keys to happiness; Look Inside, Move Outside, Be Kind, Share More and Be Curious.
- ONE TO ONE
I am very happy to offer one to one sessions either in your child’s familiar home environment or in a cosy wooden yoga studio in Tilehurst, Reading. Alongside tailoring a session to suit your child’s individual needs and providing you with information sheets to help you practice together after your session, I love to write calming and personal guided visualisations to help them relax and calm down ready for sleep.
- SMALL OCCASIONAL GROUPS
If there is a small group of friends interested in their children being introduced to mindfulness, private sessions for up to 5 children can also be arranged to spread cost. These can take place in one of the participants homes or in one of a few nurturing spaces we can hire around Berkshire.
