- Creative mindfulness family workshop;
At this workshop we invite you to let go of self judgment with regards to creating and to use photography and art as a means to simply notice and observe the wonder-full world we are lucky to be living in.
The more we intentionally direct our attention towards the sensory delights around us the more joy we experience and the less attention we give to what’s going on in our heads, which can cause us a lot of distress and illness if we let it!
The wonderful woodland and sensory garden at Path Hill provides endless inspiration what ever the time of year and what ever the weather, as well as all of the de-stressing health benefits associated with being in nature.
You will need to bring your own camera phone or tablet as your tool for the photography element. We accept that this technology is, or is going to be, a huge influence in our children’s lives and feel that here we are offering children an experience of using it for a positive and potentially life enhancing purpose.
* Experience the calming joys of using your device camera as a mindfulness tool with Sarah.
* Play with the beautiful, peaceful natural environment to create some inspired art with Karen.
* Use simple breathing techniques and mindful movement to connect with your body and the present moment (which is where the magic happens!).
* Feel the positive benefit of being creative together in nature.
Places cost £20 per person for groups of 2-3. If you are a group of 4 or more your 4th and subsequent places are half price!
This workshop is suitable for children aged 6-11yrs and their grown up/s.
Please bring your own packed lunch and beverages.

- Autumn yoga and mindfulness family session;
- SCHOOLS and PRE-SCHOOLS
As Brilliant Beings I can offer mindfulness classes, yoga classes and/or peer-to-peer massage classes in schools to children between the ages of 2 to 16.
I am also happy to offer mindfulness and relaxation sessions for the adults working with children in various settings (during or out of school hours) so that they can de-stress and learn to feel the benefits of mindful practice for themselves.
Whilst based in West Berkshire, I am happy to consider travelling further afield.
I am also delighted to be working with the innovative charity Inside Out for Children to help primary schools embed well being into their daily lives. Initiated by magical days out at Checkendon Equestrian Centre, Berkshire, teachers and pupils start to explore Inside Out’s 5 keys to happiness; Look Inside, Move Outside, Be Kind, Share More and Be Curious.
- ONE TO ONE
I am very happy to offer one to one sessions either in your child’s familiar home environment or in a cosy wooden yoga studio in Tilehurst, Reading. Alongside tailoring a session to suit your child’s individual needs and providing you with information sheets to help you practice together after your session, I love to write calming and personal guided visualisations to help them relax and calm down ready for sleep.
- SMALL OCCASIONAL GROUPS
If there is a small group of friends interested in their children being introduced to mindfulness, private sessions for up to 5 children can also be arranged to spread cost. These can take place in one of the participants homes or in one of a few nurturing spaces we can hire around Berkshire.
